Can trust be restored once it's lost?

You earn trust and that takes time, but you can lose that trust in a moment.

Can trust be restored once lost? Maybe. But how do you know when you're considered untrustworthy? Gerald Weinberg's Third Law of Trust states: People don't tell you when they stop trusting you. "If they don't trust you, why should they bother communicating with you?"

Still in doubt? Put yourself in their shoes. Would you put your "money in a bank that advertised: 'We've only gone broke once'"?
