Leaders use work to grow people

Well, it sounds nice, but what about something to back it up?

What I read elsewhere, LEADERS are not so much concerned with people as direction, vision, etc.

MANAGERS 'grow' people...at least, good ones do. Maybe most don't...

There's good and bad everything. There's good leaders and bad leaders. Good leaders are concerned with people and vision and direction. And one would hope managers are good leaders, but in my experience, most aren't; they're too busy counting (management by numbers).
